Thank you for choosing to visit our cat café for your feline fix!

We want you to have a wonderful experience while ensuring the safety of all in our café.
To achieve this, we kindly request that all visitors adhere to the following rules and regulations.

Failure to comply with these rules may result in removal from the premises.

Rules and Conduct for The Cats' Pyjamas Cat Café:

1. Please sanitize or clean your hands before entering the lounge.
2. No outside cats or animals are allowed in The Cats' Pyjamas.
3. Visitors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
4. We request that there be no more than two (2) children per one (1) adult during café visit.
5. Parties of more than six (6) must pay for private time as a group.
6. Do not pick up or chase the cats: This can cause the cats to become upset and become evasive.
7. You may gently pet a resting cat, but avoid disturbing them for play or with toys.
8. Keep your volume at a low level to avoid startling or frighting the cats.
9. Be mindful of cats near the lounge entrance/exit and other doorways.
10. Do not harm or manipulate furniture, decorations, or other café property.
11. Do not feed the cats any food unless permitted by staff.
12. Photography is permitted, but without flash as it will startle the cats.
13. If you require assistance with a cat, please make our staff aware.
14. Most importantly: Please be gentle when interacting with cats. These are living creatures and not toys. Our staff will be glad to help you have the best experience in our café with our cats.

RELEASE TO BE SIGNED

I certify that I am over sixteen (16) years of age and of sound mind at the time of executing this Release, Hold Harmless, and Indemnification Agreement ("Release") and agree to the following:

1. I am aware that The Cats' Pyjamas allows visitors to interact with cats on the premise. I acknowledge that playing with cats and other live animals involves inherent risks, including the risk of personal injury, property damage, and other unforeseen events. I understand that I will not be covered under The Cats' Pyjamas' insurance policy and agree to assume full responsibility for any associated risks.
2. I agree to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by The Cats' Pyjamas regarding the proper treatment of cats and other live animals. I commit to not engage in any activity that may harm or distress the cats or other live animals in any way. Failure to follow these rules may result in my removal from the premises.
3. I acknowledge that the interaction with cats may not be continuously supervised in each space. However, The Cats' Pyjamas staff will be nearby to monitor and assist.
4. I have no physical or emotional issues that would hinder my ability to interact with the cats and other live animals in a safe and responsible manner.
5. I release The Cats' Pyjamas, its agents, owners, employees, and independent contractors from any liability for injury, death, or property damage resulting from my participation in activities at The Cats' Pyjamas, including interactions with cats and other live animals, whether such harm is caused by the intentional or negligent acts of others.
6. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Cats' Pyjamas and its representatives from any liability, claim, or damages resulting from any intentional or wrongful act or omission on my part while on the premises.
7. I agree to follow The Cats' Pyjamas Rules and Conduct and failure to comply with them may result in removal from the premises.
8. I understand that this release shall be interpreted broadly and inclusively as permitted by the laws of Springfield, Illinois. If any part of this release is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the release shall remain in full force and effect. Any disputes shall be subject to the laws of Springfield, Illinois.

By executing this release, I acknowledge that I have read and understood its contents, had the opportunity seek independent counsel, and have voluntarily agreed to its terms. I acknowledge that, but for the execution of this release, The Cats’ Pyjamas would not permit me to participate in activities at their establishment.
