RELEASE AGREEMENT

FOR ACTIVITY ON WETHERSFIELD PROPERTY

WITNESS THIS AGREEMENT, 07.02.2020, by and between WETHERSFIELD FOUNDATION, INC. and WETHERSFIELD ESTATE, hereinafter referred to as WETHERSFIELD and [ First Name ] [ Last Name ] hereinafter referred to as PARTICIPANT. For consideration received, and in return for the use, today and on all future dates of the property, facilities and services of WETHERSFIELD, the PARTICIPANT and PARTICIPANT’S heirs, assigns, and representatives, hereby agree as follows:

1. Participant agrees to observe and obey all posted rules and warnings.
2. Participant expressly releases Wethersfield and its representatives, agents or employees from any and all claims for personal injury, death or property damage, even if caused by negligence (if allowed by the laws of this State) by Wethersfield or its representatives, agents or employees.
3. Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless and defend Wethersfield against, and hold harmless from, any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, judgments, orders, costs or expenses, including attorney’s fees, whether actually incurred or not, which may in any way arise from or be in any way connected with Participant’s use of or presence upon the Wethersfield property and the facilities located thereon.
4. Participant agrees to waive the protection of any applicable statutes in this jurisdiction whose purpose, substance and/or effect is to provide that a general release shall not extend to claims, material or otherwise, which the person giving the release does not know of suspect to exist at the time of executing said rele.
